2023 Legislative Changes to Statutes Governing Condominiums and Homeowners’ Associations

These letters are written for the purpose of providing a summary of the most recent and relevant changes effectuated by the Florida Legislature, (the “Legislature”), and the Governor of the State of Florida, to Chapter 718, Florida Statutes, (the “Condominium Act”), and other Florida Statutes which affect condominiums, as well as Chapter 719, Florida Statutes and Chapter 720, Florida Statutes, and other Florida Statutes which affect condominiums, homeowners’ associations and the communities that they operate.

Please note that the attached documents are simply summaries of some of the more salient changes in the law that may affect your Association and its members, and do not necessarily include all changes in the law pertaining to condominiums, cooperative and homeowners’ associations.
