Jeannie A. Liebegott is a non-equity Partner at Eisinger Law, where she leads the firm’s Litigation Department. Jeannie concentrates her practice in commercial and residential real estate litigation, corporate and business law, community association law, land use and zoning, construction, and environmental matters in both state and federal courts.
Ms. Liebegott represents condominium and homeowner associations, cooperative associations, property management companies, property managers, unit and HOA homeowners, and individual board members throughout Florida. Jeannie brings a solutions-driven and strategic approach to resolving complex disputes involving governing documents, statutory compliance, insurance, fiduciary liability, and property rights.
Before joining Eisinger Law, Ms. Liebegott spent over 15 years at a national insurance defense firm, where she served as a Shareholder for more than a decade. During her tenure, she represented insureds in high-exposure litigation across multiple lines of coverage, including Directors and Officers (D&O), Errors and Omissions (E&O), casualty, and broker-dealer liability. In addition to her litigation experience, her work provided in-depth exposure to the claims handling strategies, evaluation protocols, and risk management practices employed by insurance carriers. This background affords her a unique and strategic perspective when advising clients on coverage issues, defending insured parties, and navigating complex insurance disputes on behalf of community associations.
Ms. Liebegott began her legal career representing prominent commercial and residential developers, as well as institutional lenders, in complex real estate and financing transactions across Florida. Her early work included drafting and negotiating development agreements, navigating regulatory approvals, and advising on secured lending and real estate acquisitions. This foundational experience established her as a trusted authority in Florida’s real estate and financial sectors and continues to inform her ability to deliver strategic, results-oriented counsel in both transactional and litigation matters.
Liebegott earned her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami in 2004 and her Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Florida State University in 2001. She is admitted to practice in Florida state courts and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
